2ndgrade: The second graders spent their time this week working very diligently on the board games they are creating. Each student is using strong thinking and really taking their time to create a high-quality game. They are putting depth of thought and extreme effort into the creation of the gameboard, the rules, and all the pieces and cards to go with their games. They should be very proud of the work they’re doing on this project!
3rdgrade: The challenge this class is facing is to create a machine that will kick a ping-pong ball into a variety of targets. They are using recyclables to make their machines. By engaging in the Engineering Design Process they are planning, building, testing and improving their work. All of them have experienced great success and have maintained a positive attitude even when their first idea didn’t work. At the end of the week next week they will officially test their machines.
