st grade: We welcomed a new student to our class this week :-). The cuties in this class have been learning how to play SET. They are picking the game up impressively fast! This game is an absolutely wonderful way to exercise critical thinking. If you don't already own one at home I strongly suggest you purchase it! Playing SET with your child will help both of your brains grow!
nd grade: A new student joined this class as well :-). The GT cuties are still working on their own unique version of SET. This week they made good progress on their games. They are doing extremely high quality work on this project!
rd grade: The upcoming play, Underground Ella, is sure to rock your world! The cuties have completed the script, the puppets, and the invitations. This week they made good progress on building the puppet stage. There is a strong chance that the stage will be finished by the end of next week. Then, it's all about rehearsing and gearing up for the performance. We hope you will be able to join us on Thursday, December 6 11:35-12:15 for what will surely be a memorable performance!
th grade: It was our pleasure to welcome one new student to our class this week! Building real bridges is as fun as it is challenging! The 4th grade cuties are using excellent critical thinking and communication skills to build these intriguing models. There are three groups of builders in our class. One of the groups completed their first bridge build this week (see picture above). They are now researching the real bridge they built and creating an informative display to add to their bridge. The other groups should complete their builds next week :-)
th grade: The 5th grade cuties did not attend GT this week. Instead, they focused on preparing and performing the musical. They did a truly incredible job with Annie! It was tons of fun to see the GT cuties perform and shine on the stage!
