The GT program uses the form above to accomplish these important tasks. Each nine weeks we take a day off and pause from our usual routine. We discuss each sentence on the form and relate it to The Thinking Skills of GT. Then, we talk about the different projects and activities we did throughout the quarter.
Next, the students are ready to rate themselves in the designated areas and complete the form. By spending time writing about what they are proud of and what they want to improve upon students become more invested in report cards.
You will get your child's Student Self Report, along with the Teacher Report, when we meet for parent conferences. If we are not meeting I will send them home in the GT folder at the end of the month.
