The Cardboard Arcade plans are finished, but that doesn't mean that the students' ideas are destined to work immediately. In fact, it is my hope that their plans do not go as they imagined. That will make the students have to delve deeper into complex thinking and problem solving. By learning how to face a failed idea with a positive attitude the students are equipping themselves to face many of life's challenges. It isn't an easy lesson to learn, but sharing the experience with other people definitely improves things for these young thinkers.
If anyone has some large pieces of cardboard that they no longer want we can certainly use them here in the GT classroom :-)
