This week the students shared the Portraits of Invention projects with one another. Each student took a turn sharing what they learned about the inventor they chose to study. They shared the models they made of the people and their invention. After they explained their work the students took questions from the crowd. It was a very positive and inspiring week of sharing in GT class!
In the next week or so you can expect to get an email from your child that goes into more detail about what they learned from their classmates' projects. By taking some time to reflect upon what they learned students gain deeper insight into the project. They will be sharing pictures and facts from the projects that some of their peers made with you via a Keynote presentation.
If you haven't already seen your child's presentation you should definitely ask them to show it to you! You will be amazed at what they learned and what they created to convey their learning!
